With more than 25 years’ experience in executive search and as an experienced NED in the healthcare sector, Sarah brings a unique dual-lens perspective to talent advisory. She is widely regarded for her deep understanding of the healthcare landscape locally and internationally, and provides insights that enable her to identify, attract, and place outstanding leaders who deliver high impact business outcomes from day one.

Sarah’s track record includes numerous CEO, COO, CMO, and broader C-suite and Clinical Specialist appointments, where she has built trusted relationships with both clients and candidates. She is recognised for her authenticity, strategic acumen, and tenacious, hands-on approach to search—qualities that have earned her long-term partnerships across the sector.

Prior to joining Johnson Partners, Sarah was a Partner at Alex Kaar for over 8 years, where she built and led the healthcare practice nationally.   In all her work, Sarah brings a sharp eye for capability and cultural alignment, ensuring her placements don’t just fit the brief—they elevate the organisation.

Sarah has two children who keep her on her toes and is a keen sportsperson with a passion for skiing, golf and fitness training.  Sarah is a passionate and one-eyed Collingwood supporter in the AFL, and having been born in the USA she is also a keen Kansas City Chief fan.  Together with her children, Sarah enjoys travelling to new and exciting destinations and discovering different cultures.
