Westpac NZ appoints GM Institutional & Business Banking
We are delighted to have served as a trusted partner of Westpac New Zealand on the appointment of Reuben Tucker to the role of General Manager Institutional and Business Banking.
A senior and well-regarded banker with broad and deep experience in Institutional Banking, Reuben has worked for almost 25 years in New Zealand, Australia and the Asia Pacific in a career that has included financial markets, debt capital markets, relationship management, and transactional banking. He has worked for a variety of organisations across New Zealand, Australia and Asia including over 10 years with ANZ. Most recently, he owned the investment and advisory firm, Balthazar & Co.
Reuben joins the refreshed executive team under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Catherine McGrath, as Westpac’s transformation and growth programme continues to gather further momentum. A key strategic appointment, Reuben is responsible for building the profile, capability and impact of Westpac New Zealand’s Institutional and Business banking services – incorporating Corporate and Commercial, Agribusiness, Institutional and Small Business.
