Westpac appoints Paul Roe as Group Head of Regulatory Affairs

We are delighted to have partnered with Westpac on the appointment of Paul Roe as Group Head of Regulatory Affairs

Paul will assist Westpac in managing its regulatory relationships with transparency, constructiveness and consistency in accordance with the expectations of regulators.

Paul Roe has over 18 years of experience in the financial industry, having worked in various roles for organisations such as Financial Services Authority, HM Treasury, UK Export Finance and the HSBC Group Supervision Team. He comes to Westpac from his current role as the Head of Department for Market Interventions, Payments, at Financial Conduct Authority in the United Kingdom.

Westpac is Australia’s first bank and oldest company, one of four major banking organisations in Australia and one of the largest banks in New Zealand. They provide a broad range of consumer, business and institutional banking, and wealth management services through a portfolio of financial services brands and businesses.
