Vector Metering Appoints Mark Tume as Chair

We are delighted to have partnered with Vector Metering on the appointment of Mark Tume as the inaugural Chair. The Board was formed after the sale of 50% of Vector Metering to QIC Private Capital Pty Limited (QIC) by Vector (NZX:VCT), which completed on 30 June 2023.

There are exciting times ahead for Vector Metering as it drives a focussed and targeted growth strategy designed to build capability and win market share, particularly in Australia. Key future levers will involve innovation, technology and a customer-centric approach that will define its culture and its ability to turn strategy into action.

Over the past 20 years, Mark has held governance positions in a range of listed and unlisted companies in Australia and New Zealand, predominantly in the infrastructure sector. He is currently a director ANZ Bank New Zealand, RetireAustralia Pty and Precinct Properties and Chair of Te Atiawa Iwi Holdings.  He recently stepped down as Chair of Infratil and has held governance roles on a number of Infratil’s subsidiaries and associated companies.

Prior to his Non-Executive career, Mark has held a variety of senior executive roles within the finance sector, in areas such as investment management, capital markets, asset and liability management, and risk control.

Mark also has experience in the Māori commercial arena including his current role as Chair Te Atiawa Iwi Holdings and previous appointments as Chair of Ngāi Tahu Holdings Corporation. And Managing Director of Lake Taupō Capital.

Many thanks to the trans-Tasman Account Team – Simon Monks, Victoria Allen, Jonathon Morse and Barbara Taylor.
