The Vector Board sought to appoint a new Non-Executive Director with a blend of the following skills:

• Extensive experience overseeing the development, delivery and operation of a large complex network infrastructure, preferably electricity distribution infrastructure.
• Governance or executive experience in organisations that have undergone culture, process and systems transformation enabled by technology, data and digitalisation.
• Industry leading customer experience.

Vaughan Busby is an experienced energy and infrastructure leader, bringing over 20 years of expertise to the board. His executive experience includes serving as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Energy One Limited from its ASX listing in 2007 and Managing Director Australia for HRL Morrison & Co.

Vaughan currently serves as a non-executive director for Energy Queensland (the largest electricity distribution business in Australia) and Netlogix Australia and is the chair of Australian entity SFV (an energy infrastructure financing company).  Previously, Vaughan was the chair of ASX-listed SciDev and has held directorships at EnergyCo NSW, Energy One, Ergon Energy, Morrison and Infratil Energy Australia.
