The role of EGM External Affairs is accountable for leading the Stakeholder Engagement, Corporate Communications, Landowner Relations & Property, Iwi & Community Relations, Sustainability and Environmental Policy and Planning functions.

Louise Griffin is the General Manager of Corporate Affairs at ASB Bank, overseeing strategic communications, government relations, regulatory affairs, and customer advocacy. Previously, Louise Griffin led government relations and regulatory affairs at ASB, advancing sustainability and strengthening government ties. Before ASB, Louise Griffin was Group Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Government Relations at Genesis Energy, focusing on complex regulatory issues and stakeholder engagement. Earlier, Louise Griffin spent nearly eleven years at Contact Energy in senior external relations roles, and began their career as a Consultant at SenateSHJ, specialising in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.
