Tourism Holdings Limited appoints Cameron Mathewson as Chief Financial Officer.

We are very pleased to have partnered again with the Board of Tourism Holdings Limited (thl), Chief Executive Officer Grant Webster and Chief People and Capability Officer, Kate Meldrum on the appointment of Cameron Mathewson as their new Chief Financial Officer with global responsibilities based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Cameron Mathewson draws from a strong international financial career spanning across both listed and private company environments. He has led multi-jurisdictional finance teams for Scott Technology, Brand Developers, Pitney Bowes and Fonterra. He has also held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Alliance Group, a $2bn farmer-owned Co-operative.

Founded in the early 1980s, Tourism Holdings Limited (thl) is New Zealand’s premier tourism company. Listed on the NZX and ASX, thl, is the largest provider of holiday vehicles for rent and sale globally. A true New Zealand growth story, thl has led the way for many iconic brands in growing its brand overseas. With the recent acquisition of ASX listed, Apollo Tourism, and Grant Webster’s recent recognition as INFINZ and Deloitte’s Chief Executive Officer Leadership of the year awards, the business continues proving its resilience as a sustainable leader in the highly competitive and growing tourism sector.

Recognised as a dynamic and inclusive team leader, Cameron has a distinct customer- centric and multi branded businesses profile from his earlier career, having worked in both the UK and New Zealand. This experience will be hugely supportive as ‘thl’ continues to drive growth in new markets around the world and invest further in the North American operations.

Many thanks to the key members of the Search team Simon Monks, Wendy Flynn and Wendy Sole for their dedicated and insightful work on this first-class appointment.
