Stride Property Group is an NZX-listed real estate investment manager, holding a diversified portfolio across the office, retail, and industrial sectors throughout New Zealand. David’s appointment strategically positions the organisation to enhance its governance capabilities and strengthen its market presence. Following a transition period, David is anticipated to assume the role of Chair, succeeding Tim Storey, who will step down on or before the 2026 Annual Shareholder Meetings.

David brings substantial governance and executive leadership experience, notably within banking and financial services. He currently serves as an Independent Director of EROAD Limited and Westpac New Zealand Limited, and as Chair of BT Funds Management (NZ) Limited. His executive career includes 14 years with ANZ Group, serving as CEO Singapore and Head of South East Asia, India & Middle East. David has also held governance roles as Chair of the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand, Director of ANZ Bank (Europe) Ltd, and Executive Board Member of the New Zealand China Council.
