SPCA NZ Appoints Todd Westwood as CEO
We are delighted to have partnered with SPCA New Zealand on their appointment of Todd Westwood as CEO.
As New Zealand’s oldest and largest animal welfare charity, SPCA has been protecting animals for over 150 years – animals who are sick, injured, neglected, abused or simply abandoned. They are also the only charity with the power to protect all animals including prosecuting people under the Animal Welfare Act 1999.
Todd arrives at a pivotal moment in SPCA’s history, poised to future-proof this cherished ‘for purpose’ organisation.
“Todd brings with him an innate passion for building strong culture, an excellent track record in organisational transformation, and a commitment to understanding and leading teams towards a brighter future.”David Broderick, SPCA Chair
He has broad cross-industry experience in Energy, Technology, Telecommunications, Finance – as well as with New Zealand’s largest occupational health, personal welfare and physiotherapy rehabilitation provider: Habit Health – which includes the EAP service we know and use here. During his career, he has honed his skills in transformational growth, strategy, operations and leadership of the sector he is operating in. His enthusiasm is infectious and he has a true knack of bringing people with him on a journey.
Many thanks to the Account Team – Nicola Mirza, Olivia Monks and Wendy Sole.
