QBE appoints two Non-Executive Directors to the Australia Pacific Board
We are delighted to have partnered with QBE (ASX: QBE) in appointing Melanie Willis and David Curran as Non-Executive Directors of the Australia Pacific Board.
Melanie brings extensive experience in executive and non-executive roles across several sectors, including financial services, property, infrastructure, retail, and investment management. As former CEO of NRMA Investments, she was responsible for the company’s core $600 million investment portfolio and commercial businesses.
David has over 30 years of experience within the IT and financial services sectors. As the former Group Chief Information Officer at Westpac, he was responsible for the implementation of several major transformation projects, including the group’s Customer Service Hub, and an infrastructure and operations initiative that facilitated migrating Westpac’s technology capabilities to the cloud.
QBE Australia Pacific chair Mark Joiner said that the recent appointments bring invaluable expertise to the insurer, particularly in the technology and innovation space.
