Port of Auckland Appoints Rob Mair as GM Health, Safety & Wellbeing

We are delighted to have partnered with Roger Gray and Chris Mills at the Port of Auckland on the critical appointment of an executive team member accountable for Health, Safety & Wellbeing, with Rob Mair joining the Port next month.

POAL was recently recognised by the Deloitte Top 200, taking home the award for ‘Most Improved Performance’, recognising the depth of turnaround and performance that has been achieved under Roger, the ELT and broader team in the last 18 months. Rob joins the executive to further elevate Health, Safety and Wellbeing across the business, utilising his transformative change and improvement experience to ensure that POAL is well positioned for the future with a best practice approach.

Most recently Rob spent five years as GM Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability for CRL and more recently Director, Health & Safety for the Link Alliance, developing and delivering H&S strategy aimed at significantly uplifting standards and performance. He came to New Zealand following 20 years with Transport for London and London Underground managing safety, health, security and environmental remits as well periods in operations and infrastructure management.

Congratulations to Rob and the POAL team.

Many thanks to the POAL Account Team – Natalie Stones, Olivia Monks and Wendy Sole.
