Lyttelton Port Company appoints Nigel Foster as Chief People & Capability Officer

Johnson Partners is delighted to have partnered with Lyttelton Port Company on the appointment of Nigel Foster as Chief People & Capability Officer.

Nigel will partner closely with CEO, Graeme Sumner as they guide the Port to a more productive, profitable and digitally advanced customer focused organisation.

After decades of Human Resources leadership in the United Kingdom and Dubai across financial services and professional services, Nigel joined Customs New Zealand where he has been leading the People & Capability organisation.  He has a strong background in strategic people development, industrial relations coupled with his insights into port operations as a key partner to Customs New Zealand.

LPC is the one of the country’s largest international trade gateways, facilitating the movement of billions of dollars’ worth of imports and exports each year. They are critical commercial partner to core businesses across the region and country and the Christchurch and Lyttelton communities.
