IAG NZ appoints EGM Customer Experience & Growth

IAG New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Pomeroy as Executive General Manager Customer Experience & Growth as a result of an international search conducted by Johnson Partners.

IAG New Zealand is the nation’s leading general insurance provider across both the direct and intermediated channels. Under CEO Amanda Whiting who was appointed in July 2021, Simon will be joining a refreshed leadership team focussed on identifying new markets and revenue streams to underpin its customer-led growth strategy.

Simon has a breadth of experience in delivering high-performing customer experiences across a number of industries and has a solid track record of delivery and success. Most recently Global Head of Client Experience and Head of Digital for APAC & EMEA for Citibank in Singapore, Simon has also held senior transformative leadership roles with Westpac New Zealand and Air New Zealand.
