IAG New Zealand Limited appoints Michele Embling as Non-Executive Director

We are delighted to have partnered with IAG New Zealand Limited on the appointment of Michel Embling as Non-Executive Director

Recognising both present and future challenges in the Insurance sector, IAG New Zealand has looked to strengthen both its capability and resource at Board level. Additionally, it has taken the opportunity to broaden the diversity of skills and experience to further recognise present and future customer and client needs.

Michele is currently a Board Member for AIA New Zealand, Transpower, Toitū Tahua – The Centre for Sustainable Finance, and the Financial Reporting Council. She is Chair of the External Reporting Board (XRB) and Deputy Chair of the University of Auckland’s Business School Advisory Board.

Michele previously served as the Chair of PwC in New Zealand from 2016 to 2020, was a Partner for 15 years and has held numerous leadership, executive and governance roles within PwC in New Zealand and Asia. She headed the technical function of the New Zealand firm providing key advice on complex financial reporting, statutory and regulatory reporting issues.
