Chorus appoints Mark Aue as Chief Executive Officer following a planned succession exercise

We are thrilled to have partnered with Chorus for the CEO succession resulting in Mark Aue succeeding JB Rousselot.

Mark brings over 20 years’ global experience leading large teams across multiple industries including telecommunications, digital technology, FMCG and professional services. In addition, he has a proven background in finance and a strong customer focus that will help drive Chorus into its new stage of growth.

Mark joined 2degrees in July 2018 as its CFO and was appointed as CEO in 2019 and led a highly successful turnaround of this challenger brand.

His earlier career includes serving as CFO of Vodafone NZ, CFO of Vodafone’s Global Enterprise division in the UK, a Director of Vodafone Fiji, as well as other transformation and planning roles.

Sitting within the NZX20, Chorus represents New Zealand’s largest telecommunications infrastructure company, building and managing an open access internet network, shaping a future where all Kiwis are free to access opportunities to define their own lives.

The Johnson Partners team was led by Jonathon Morse and Natalie Stones with support from Barbara Taylor, Katie Mills, Olivia Monks and Dean Hassall.
