David Fisher is a seasoned Risk executive with over 30 years covering retail and institutional banking, and insurance, with the last 17 years focussing on technology, Information Security, and operations Risk across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.

David joins from NAB where he was recently serving as Executive, Technology, Information Security, Group Insurance and Enterprise Operations Risk leading the second line of defence across a diverse spectrum including technology, cyber and physical security, data, privacy, payments, lending services, collections, property, strategic sourcing and Insurance.

Previously at ANZ, David held several global leadership roles, including Group Head of Identity & Access Management, Global Head of Technology Risk & Information Security, and Global Head of Operational and Regulatory Compliance Risk for the global Institutional and Private Bank Division, building functions from the ground up, managing teams of up to 180, and ensuring regulatory compliance across 36 countries. He has also held senior Risk roles at Citibank and Westpac.

His experience spans operational transformations, merger integration (including the ANZ / National Bank of New Zealand merger), and strategic risk program delivery.
