Auckland International Airport appoints Shanon Tapp as Programme Director – Landside

We are delighted to have partnered with Melanie Dooney and Susana Fueyo Suarez on the appointment of Shanon Tapp as Programme Director – Landside.

Shanon Tapp is a qualified engineer with over twenty years of experience in the delivery of a wide spectrum of projects ranging from civil and infrastructure works to residential developments and airports in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

He was most recently Director Infrastructure & Civil Construction at Kāinga Ora, as well as Director – LEAD Alliance, having been appointed to the Project Alliance Board by Kāinga Ora. Prior to this, he was Project Director leading the Māngere Development, a re-development of state houses in the wider Māngere area. Shanon’s earlier career has seen him hold project management, consultancy and engineering roles with Ngāi Tahu Property, RCP and Vector. He also spent time as a Quantity Surveyor for Heathrow Terminal 5 in the UK and commenced his career as a Civil Engineer with MWH working in a number of regional branches in the far north.
